This statement is often misunderstood or misinterpreted, to me it simply means that I will attempt to turn all obstacles into opportunities!

Wednesday
Just a quick Wednesday note. Today I am working at the family flooring store so I don't have a lot of time to post. I am still working on my "good news" that I received in the mail on Friday. I hope to have some time to write a longer post tomorrow and share it all. I've been trying to make sure that I have something planned for dinner on Tuesdays & Wednesdays that is easy. Yesterday we had homemade vegetable soup & cornbread. When I first got married, over 17 years ago, the first thing my mother-in-law taught me to make was homemade vegetable soup. That may sound like something anybody could make, but not me. I can remember standing in her kitchen as she taught me how to peel tomatoes for the soup. I didn't even realize you could peel tomatoes. I was a very "green" 17 year old! As I made that vegetable soup yesterday I thought of my wonderful in-laws. Someday I will dedicate an entire post to them. They taught me a lot about life. One of the first things my father-in-law said to me was "Sis, Can you be a country girl?"
How precious those memories are. I think you make a cute country girl. I can't wait to hear what your good news is. I hope you post it before Friday. We are going to the lake and I will be without internet. I will be back on Sunday though. Love ya! Val P.S. Randy says thank you for the birthday song. He said he could hear you singing.
Proverbs 31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. This my heart's desire!
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. All things are good for those that love God! Remember they are not problems but opportunities!
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; I remember when he called me out of darkness and into his marvellous light!
Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. My mother taught me this verse as a teenager and it has helped me through many trials!
